Oneness vs. Separation

Do you ever judge yourself for not being “one with all”? It’s especially hard to feel oneness when it comes to someone you dislike. They feel separate from who you are, and then you feel bad about feeling this way. Here’s Dragon Spirit wisdom to let go of self-judgement and see things in a whole new light.

Many of you judge yourselves for not being connected enough. For seeing yourself as separate from all that is, separate from each other, and unable to feel completely enmeshed with the wholeness of the universe.

We would suggest not to judge yourself so harshly.

Yes, it is hard to feel connected to all that is, especially when you desire to be “one with all.”

Your experience is much like the parable about the blind men describing an elephant.

Each man could only describe the part that they were exposed to. And even though the description of a trunk versus an ear or a tail is completely different, they were all experiencing the elephant in their own way.

Similarly, even if you experience individuals as individuals, there is no need to judge yourself. Everything and everyone are still interconnected.

So do not worry or judge yourself for feeling separate, or failing to feel the totality of all that is. Even if you view the world as separate, everything is still interconnected. It is still one animal.

You would not judge the blind men for not being able to see.

So too, is your vision limited. And that is okay because it is impossible to perceive totality through your five senses. But you can experience glimmers of feeling oneness in your heart.
