50:) How to Work with Others Without Compromising Who You Are or Settling for Mediocrity

Are you generally a lone wolf or are you the person that everyone loves? What you may not realize is that these are two sides of the same coin. One person “plays nice in the sandbox” and the other is frustrated at the kids in the sandbox so they make their own sandbox.

The root of both of these behaviors is the same: a failure to speak up. When everyone  loves working you, it’s because you go along with the group. You put their needs ahead of your own, so you don’t speak up at times when you really feel you should.

And for those who avoid working with others, it’s because you learned that it was better to do things on your own. But the root of that is also a failure to speak up. You let small things slide without speaking up until you reached a boiling point and removed yourself from the group.

Tune in to this week’s episode for a simple technique—courtesy Dragon Spirit and the Universe—to speak up confidently and productively in the moment so that working with others doesn’t drain your energy, but instead becomes a source of joy, expansion and growth.
